Appointment Checklist
A quick guide to help you prepare for your visit — so you can focus on your care when you arrive at Sunway Medical.
Before your appointment
- Confirm your appointment date, time and consultant via SMS or the SunMed App
- Bring your NRIC / passport and medical card (if applicable)
- Bring any previous scans, lab reports or medical records
- List your current medications (name, dosage, frequency)
- Fast 8–10 hours before any blood test or scan requiring contrast
- Arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration
On the day
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Bring a family member or companion if needed
- Use the Main Tower A lobby or A&E (for emergencies)
- Pay parking will be validated at the cashier on most consultations
Rescheduling or cancellation
We appreciate at least 24 hours' notice for reschedules — this allows us to offer the slot to another patient. You can reschedule by:

Emergency care
For emergencies, please proceed directly to our 24/7 A&E Department or call +603-5566-8888 immediately. Do not wait for an appointment in emergency situations.
